My wife and I have been homeschooling my son for a few years now - he's in 2nd grade. My oldest daughter is a little younger than preschool age and, so, we figured that we would start doing some work with her, too. Typically, I have a worksheet or two to use with her as well as an iPad app. It all keeps things fun and interesting.
This week, I thought that I would tackle her name. Mikaela knows that her name starts with the letter, "M," but that is pretty much all she's got up to this point. So, I used this picture of a train that I found on Google Images, added some clouds with Photoshop, and threw her name in that uppermost puff of smoke. It's up here for you to click, download, and use with your own little one.
The app that I am using this week is simply called, "ABC Song." It gives Mickey a chance to sing the ABCs as well as choose from 4 different alphabet-based games.
